First Responders Day at Discovery World

On September 5, 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm EDT, Discovery World on Market in Parkersburg, WV, will celebrate First Responders Day, offering free admission for all first responders and their families, courtesy of sponsors Matheny Motors and Matheny Fire & Emergency. Concurrently, Woodcraft - Parkersburg will host a Lidded Box Tutorial from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, where participants can learn to craft a lidded box using a wood lathe under the guidance of instructor Rusty.
