Quakertown, PA, 18951
Join Bucks County Birders' Vicky Mahmoud and the park naturalist for a morning of migration. Who knows what the the wind will bring us, but this area has historically attracted a variety of warblers and other migrating birds. Last year at this time, Black and white, Redstart, Cape May, Black-throated blue, Magnolia, Blackpoll, and Black-throated green warblers were all observed here! We will meet at Parking Lot 1 and bird in the grassy picnic areas and along the paved and grassy paths. Total mileage will be less than 2 miles, without much elevation gain. We'll see where the birds lead us! Several loaner pairs of binoculars will be available to borrow, or bring your own. No registration is required--just show up! Heavy rain or other birding-adverse weather will cancel the event. If weather is questionable, check back here for postponement or cancelation updates.
