ALP - ESL Day Class

The Adult Literacy Program (ALP) at the Kennett Library offers free ESL, GED, and Citizenship classes, available in-person, hybrid, or via Zoom, during the day and evening from late August to early June. Registration is required, and interested individuals can contact Filomena Elliott or Lupe Ruiz via email or phone. Additionally, the library hosts a Toddler Music program for children ages 2-6, featuring musical performances and instruction that includes singing, rhythmic exercises with instruments, and expressive movement. Parents are encouraged to participate, and children under eleven must be supervised by a responsible caregiver. Both programs aim to support Basic Literacy as established by the PA Forward Star Program, with the Toddler Music program also promoting Arts Culture Literacy.
