Fall Furnace Fest

Join us for a two-day family-oriented festival with live music, craft and food vendors, hayrides by DCNR, visits by Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl, pumpkin carving, historical demonstrations, and on Saturday evening a pumpkin parade followed by the "Legend of the Hairy Hand. This event is hosted at Pine Grove Furnace State Park on October 17-18, 2026 (always the 3rd full weekend in October)! Festival hours are 11 AM to 7 PM Saturday 10/17, and 11 AM to 4 PM Sunday 10/18. The famous pumpkin float and Legend of the Hairy Hand are Saturday at dusk. Festival entrance and most activities are free!
