Snakes Alive!

Join us for an exciting combination of events perfect for kids and families! First, dive into the world of "Snakes Alive!" where we’ll explore the fascinating snakes of Pennsylvania, learning how to distinguish between venomous and non-venomous species. Next, join us for "Night at the Museum" in the exhibit hall from 7 - 8 PM. Kids can embark on a hands-on scavenger hunt adventure, searching for hidden clues throughout the exhibits. There are tailored versions for both younger and older explorers, with all participants earning a prize upon completion. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult, and in case of inclement weather, the activity will move to the Visitor Center. Finally, don't miss "The Legendary Lasagna Lizard," where we'll discover the hellbender, Pennsylvania's unique state amphibian.
