Women of the West Branch Ages 14 and older

Enjoy a fun day outdoors learning skills in friendly, non-competitive activities. Engaging, hands on choice of sessions include: learning to shoot a bow and cross bow; fly fishing pole casting and fly fishing along the shoreline; wild herb ID and how to prepare; learn basic kayaking skills; orienteering with a compass; canning; and snorkeling. Campfire lunch available. In addition, an area has been reserved for anyone wanting to camp Friday and or Saturday nights with activities and meals on your own. Preregistration is required with 25 spots available. Go to the DCNR calendar of events website, search for Prince Gallitzin State Park and click on the Women of the West Branch information.
